IOSH managing safely is a 4-5 day course for Managers and Supervisors in any sector, and any organisation.
The course is designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.
The managing safely course uses a highly innovative format which does well to engage and inspire delegates.
Delegates are assessed by a multiple-choice written examination and a project.
After completion of the course delegates will have the knowledge and tools to tackle the health and safety issues they’re responsible for. Importantly, it highlights why health and safety is such a fundamental part of their job.

IOSH managing safely refresher is a 6-7 hour course to maintain the IOSH managing safely qualification. It updates delegates and replaces knowledge on primary health and safety issues.
It is best practice for those with a managing safely certificate to renew their learning within 3 years.
