Acer Safety Services was established in 2003.
 
Our Team offer a wide range of workplace health and safety support in a range of commercial and public sector environments.
 
All our services are provided by experienced and competent advisor's and trainers with appropriate commercial backgrounds.
 
Based in the Ipswich area we operate in the UK and Internationally.
 


Overview



Working with a diverse range of manufacturing and service companies including production, engineering, local authorities, haulage, leisure, education, care and waste management.

Our team will work with you to understand your needs and offer a flexible approach through sensibly controlled practical solutions. We will also provide development support though training and mentoring. We set out to agree achievable milestones and support your day to day operations whilst ensuring you meet your long term objectives. Our role is to ensure your achievements are recorded and your efforts tracked to demonstrate your duty of care.

Alongside the Consultancy we provide a wide range of training services including standard courses IOSH, NEBOSH, BSC, CIEH, Highfield and UK Asbestos Awareness (UKATA) as well as bespoke courses on a full range of H&S topics.

As the business has grown we have extended our services with Vocational H&S (NVQ's) and support for 18001 H&S Management accreditation added to our portfolio.

Mr André Castle

Director of Acer Safety Services for 11 years based in Suffolk. An enthusiastic active trainer and consultant for small/medium size businesses through to international corporations. 24 years experience in the direct delivery of health and safety services.
Offers sensible ‘hands on’ risk management with a realistic and practical working knowledge of regulatory requirements balanced with operational needs.

Career based on experience as an Engineering Toolmaker within manufacturing, telecoms and facilities management.
Specialised knowledge in 24 hr building protection, disaster recovery, emergency/environmental planning, first aid and fire safety incident management.

Active Committee Member for IOSH East Anglia Branch and Chairman of the Suffolk and North Essex Occupational Safety Group (Safety Groups UK and RoSPA).

Also supports local community organisations with safety advice and is an Observer for a regional motorcycle safety group.
