Asbestos Awareness

Course summary

The UKATA Asbestos Awareness is mandatory for anyone who has no intention of removing asbestos but works on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, where asbestos could be present. This course is for anyone who works with the infrastructure or services of a building and for those who supervise employees or contractors.

Asbestos Awareness is a high impact and engaging half day course with a practical approach to raise delegate awareness about the hazards from exposure to asbestos in the workplace.

This course also covers the identification of asbestos containing materials and the procedures to be taken when discovering suspicious materials.

This UKATA course is not appropriate for asbestos removal workers.
