Zambia Community Project

In July 2012 a group of 13 students including myself, Abygail Hadley are going on a 10 day expedition to Zambia. Zambia is a landlocked country in southern Africa. In Zambia unemployment and underemployment are large problems. A way to help conquer this problem is to give the children over there a better education to help them in the future. When we are there we are going to be helping to improve the local schools and educate the local people. This will mainly involve improving the classrooms by doing things such as creating desks and windows to let in light, to create a better learning environment. Each student has to fundraise around £2000 each, Acer Safety Services is helping us to reach our goal of this ambitious target.
